Gallery One: Earth-Air-Water Series

Series Statement

Nature has always been an important theme in my artwork and my life.

My two passions, fiber and biology, are used to create the imagery in my art. I find that I am most at home when creating works from nature. There is an endless supply from which to choose when designing.

I prefer a realistic interpretation of the plant or animal I am creating in fabric. I love the challenge of finding just the right thread or embellishment to capture its likeness.

My Earth-Air-Water Series is a culmination of my art form and will be a continuing series. It is a place where I am happiest and most at peace with the physical universe.

I am a 'naturalist' in fiber.
